Aug 14, 2016 CJB X-Ray Mod 1.7.10 will show you all the blocks you want in the world. Simply head over to the CJB Option menu and there you can you can mark the blocks red which you don’t wanna see. Press the X-Ray key and voila you now will see all the blocks you want. There is also a Cave and nightvision option for you to use. Night vision with Xray

This is the best example of a night vision feature and you can clearly see the blocks of vegetation even in the dark. The square blocks on the ground indicate the areas which are safe for your movement and you can easily see through the contents of each block with this special xray resource pack. The dangerous TNT is in the middle and you can easily calculate the effect without getting anywhere near the object. It is laid on a track and you can see it being moved to a different location. You can also notice the vegetation in different blocks and this will make it easy for you to identify any threats in the location. You can safely avoid the danger zone and move in designated blocks that will not cause you any harm. The tracks are also clearly visible and you can see the wooden blocks supporting the tracks in a uniform pattern. The TNT material is also secured in a concrete block and you can even see the marking on the object. With the help of this pack, you can identify such dangers even during the night time and this will improve your chances of surviving in the game for a long duration. As you can see, there is some light visible at the end of the vegetation and this gives you an indication of the overall surrounding region.

The Xray mod is a mod for Minecraft allowing to see through the useless blocks, such as earth, stone, grass and sand to let appear only the minerals sought by the player such as diamond, gold, iron, coal.

The mod also shows dungeons, chests and other objects made by the players such as doors or ladders.

This mod works in solo, but also in multiplayer on unprotected servers. For server administrators, you can protect your server using the anti-xray plugin.

Warning : this xray mod for Minecraft is forbidden on all multiplayer servers, if you use it in multiplayer, you may be banned.

We recommend the use of the Xray Ultimate texture pack rather than this minecraft xray mod.

There are 3 versions of the Xray mod, one that works without API (and therefore is not compatible with other mods), another that works with Minecraft Forge and the last that requires Fabric for Minecraft.

⚠️ Please note that this version of the Xray mod is NOT COMPATIBLE with ANY type of Mod Loader such as Forge, Rift or Fabric – this means that you can only use Xray by itself and not with other mods.

This is mainly due to the way the Xray mod is installed in the base code of Minecraft, Modloarders use different coding techniques to install mods in conflict with the Xray method.

The current developer has stated that he will investigate the possibility of “modloader compatibility”, but there is no information on how long this might take.

Installing the Xray mod without Forge

You can install the mod in vanilla mod or with Optifine. You will find below a tutorial to do it both ways.

How to install the Xray mod with the Minecraft vanilla launcher

Total Time:3 minutes

Download the file that corresponds to your version of Minecraft
You will have a .jar file that you can save wherever you want.
Double-click on this file and a pop-up window should appear
The drop-down list displays all versions of Minecraft you currently have installed. Click the [Install] button
In the next window, you have the possibility to name the installation
You can leave the default ‘{version No.}-Xray’. Press [OK].
Start the Minecraft launcher
Next to the big green [PLAY] button, you should be able to select the newly created Xray installation.
Once the game is running, you can click on [Options]> [Controls] and scroll down until you see an “XRay” section.
You may find that some of the default controls are RED in color. This means they are in conflict with other game controls, you will need to modify them.

Xray mod with Optifine

The Xray mod (without Forge) is compatible with Optifine, follow the steps below to make them work together:

Download Xray and Optifine for the version of Minecraft you are going to play on.
Double-click on the Optifine Jar file and a popup should appear.
Click the [Install] button
A new pop-up window should tell you that “Optifine has been successfully installed”.
Double-click on the left on the Xray Jar file. In the pop-up window, click on the small down arrow in the drop-down list and make sure that the Optifine installation is selected.
Click [Install].
A new pop-up will appear. Be sure to click [Create a New Profile], otherwise Xray may conflict with Optifine.
In the next window, choose an appropriate name or keep the default. Click [OK] and another window should appear “Xray has been installed/updated successfully”.
Open the Minecraft Launcher, make sure the correct Optifine / Xray profile is selected, then click [Play].
Once the game starts, you can check that Optifine is installed by clicking [Options]> [Video Settings] and in the corner it should show something like “Optifine HD F3 Ultra”.
By clicking on [Options]> [Controls] and scrolling down, you should see a section called “Xray”.
